How It Works — FC, finished on site
FC's screw-on coupling is the oldest connector interface in the fiber world, and it refuses to retire: test instruments, older transmission plant and plenty of industrial kit still wear FC ports. KW-03 terminates FC in the field the fast way — pre-polished stub, V-groove, and a crocodile-mouth housing whose jaws clamp the cable as it closes.
At 55 mm it is a full-size field connector for 0.9 mm and round cable work, in both polishes. Pair it with the FC hot-melt KW-06 when the job wants a fused joint instead.
